This policy describes information used by the current IndusPoint early-access product.
Information we handle
Account registration collects your name, email address and password through Supabase Auth; your name is also used in your account profile. Sign-in uses your email and password. Seller onboarding stores business and contact details, locations, catalogues, images and private verification documents. Public contact details entered for a business may appear on its approved storefront; account login emails and verification documents are not part of the public catalogue.
Buyer enquiries and contact
An optional enquiry includes your name, email and/or phone, message, and any quantity information, together with consent and submission records. It is delivered to the selected business’s seller inbox after you explicitly agree to share your details. Demo businesses cannot receive commercial enquiries. Direct call, email, WhatsApp and website links hand you over to the selected external service; IndusPoint does not submit an enquiry when you follow those links.
Search and optional AI assistance
Ordinary search queries are used to retrieve public catalogue records. When you choose available AI-assisted discovery, your procurement query and a limited selection of public catalogue text are sent to Anthropic to rank relevant records. Account data, enquiry contact details and private verification documents are not included by the application. Avoid entering confidential requirements or personal information in discovery queries. If AI assistance is unavailable, you can continue with ordinary search.
Services, cookies and logs
Vercel hosts the application. Supabase provides the database, authentication and file storage. Hostinger provides platform authentication email delivery. Anthropic processes AI requests only when that feature is configured and used. These providers process information under their own terms and may process it outside your region. Authentication uses cookies and may use browser storage to maintain sessions. The current application does not include advertising trackers or an analytics SDK. Hosting and service logs may contain technical request information such as IP addresses and URLs for operation and security.
Use, retention and your choices
We use information to operate accounts, review seller applications, publish approved catalogue content, deliver enquiries and maintain security. Records remain while needed for these purposes, support and audit history; this MVP does not offer automated retention periods or self-service account deletion. You can browse without signing in and choose whether to send an enquiry. To request access, correction or deletion, email support@induspoint.in. We assess requests after confirming identity and considering operational and legal obligations.
